Processing: Wet-hulled

Sumatra coffee has long been a go-to for folks who love rich, earthy, bold cups of dark roast coffee! So we are so stoked to finally ad this to our lineup! This Harimau Tiger captures the classic characteristics of a Sumatran coffee while also offering a sweet, cleaner profile and higher cup quality than a standard “Mandehling DP.” We look for coffees that have a balance of sweetness with the earthy, herbaceous, and savory notes that are common to coffees from this region, and we pay close attention to the uniformity of the prep in these lots.

  • How we roast the beans: dark
  • Region: Aceh region up to 6000 feet elevation
  • Flavors in the cup: Sugary, sweet and soft, with subtle tanginess and cedar wood nuance. Toffee candy flavors round out a full-bodied mouthfeel.
